So I got Star Wars the Force Unleashed (Lucas Arts) a week ago, and it worked fine until last weekend. All of a sudden when I tried to boot up the game, either the screen would freeze up during boot up, or if you booted up the game from the dashboard, the screen would just go black and the drive would stop. I took the game back to Gamestop and they replaced it. I took it home and the same happened. So I went on the gamefaqs.com message board, and some one had the same problem. Some dude wrote the fix out, but I wanted to talk to technical support before I started dicking around with the dashboard. I called Xbox 360 (Microsoft) and some Indian or Pakistani lady told me to call Lucas Arts… so I did, and here’s the solution.

1. Take the game out and re-boot your Xbox 360.

2. From the dashboard scroll to the system page (it’s the purple one)

3. Scroll down to memory and press the A button

4. Hit the Y button (device options)

5. Now press XX LB RB XX and select Yes when the option comes up (some kind of maintenance thing) .

6. Put the game back in and re-boot your system

7. Commence you geekdome!
